Asia Dive Expo!

Our Kaia Initiative members had a great time at Asia Dive Expo (ADEX30)!

From meeting new people, to learning about diving & conservation, and even having fun trying out underwater drones, ADEX was a platform for us to discover and share our passion for the ocean with a like-minded community.🐬🐡🐙

Davina, Sophie, and Francesca have shared about their experiences at ADEX!

“I honestly had so much fun talking to the strangers, hearing their experiences and checking out the other booths. As an extroverted person I love talking to people and the experience was amazing. I was nervous about talking to strangers obviously, but after a while I realised how nice people were, overall amazing experience 11/10.”

“ADEX was truly an eye-opening experience for me. As a non-diver, I learnt so much more about diving, the ocean and just how many people love and care for it. It was a wonderful experience to be able to share about my knowledge of the ocean to others and be able to introduce Kaia Initiative to so many others. It was lovely to meet so many new people and meet such like-minded people who share the same vision as Kaia.

“At Adex, it was a very new experience for me as I did not know much about the ocean until ADEX where I walked around the different booths and learned so much more about the ocean, diving and different conservation methods. It was not very difficult for me to talk to strangers as I'm quite extroverted. We approached youths, adults, and families to explain to more people what our initiative was about! Overall, I found ADEX a really enriching experience that allowed me to learn so much about the ocean and allowed me to make new friends!!”
